Leviticus 27:30

If you missed youth group last night there's two big things:

1. I am challenging us (me included) to place something aside this week and spend more time with God. I will be spending no time on Twitter and limited time on Facebook this week.

This week we are talking about tithing. Let's first start off watching the Tithe Rap.

Leviticus 27:30 says A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.

What do you think of when you first heard the word tithe? Does this verse match your definition?

When I think of tithe I think of money and how 10% of what we earn is supposed to be given back to God.

This week as we talk about tithing, think about how you can tithe, even if you don't have a job.
